A new home at last

Robin Aconley sent these photographs of his new games room, refurbished to house the Appleton snooker table.

Looks like the place for some perfect breaks!

Italian evening a success

Thanks to all the people who supported the I
talian night at the Reading Room. We raised a total of £46 towards the roof and fencing repairs plus we were left with some supplies ready for bonfire night.

The next taste of event is an Indian evening which we plan to hold early spring 2012. We will email details closer to the time.

Several people felt, and we agree, it would be easier if we increased the cost to cover the film, snacks and all refreshments. Therefore the next event will be slightly more expensive.
